Maren Schroeder

Maren is the President and COO of Stolt Tankers and joined the Avenir Board of Directors in May 2025. Maren joined Stolt Tankers as Fleet Director in 2019 and then held the position of Managing Director from 2022 until she assumed her current role in 2024. Prior to joining Stolt, she was Head of Technical at Vroon B.V. Maren has also held surveying positions with Exmar, Euronav and Germanischer Lloyd.

During her time at Stolt Tankers, Maren has been instrumental in driving collaboration across the business and providing the highest quality ships to customers. She has also successfully developed strong virtual connections between ship and shore personnel, which was crucial during Covid-19.

Maren holds an MBA from the WHU/Kellogg School of Management and is a Harvard Alumni. She is a German citizen.
